Held in The Old Palace, the Riding School, Stable Yard and heated marquees on Palace Green, the Christmas Frost Fair will feature: up to 200 stands of exciting, unusual and original gift ideas for all; Craft men & women showing off their skills; Fine Food Fair – come and taste the mouth watering array of foods and drink; Entertainment from Choirs, dancers and street entertainers throughout the fair; Father Christmas is here on all four days, courtesy of Hatfield Rotary Club; and more. The annual market is now in its sixth year and is a fundraising event for the church. There will be various stalls including Crafts, Gifts, Homemade Cakes and Biscuits, Tombola, Children’s Activities, Santa’s Grotto and a £500 Grand Prize Draw. Hertford Christmas Gala

Head to Hertford to meet Santa and his reindeer, browse the Christmas markets, have a spot of Christmas shopping, listen to live acts on stage and enjoy the festive atmosphere in the county town. The Mayor will switch on the Hertford Christmas tree lights and a variety of activities are on offer from funfair rides to face painting, nativity dressing up to meeting costumed characters.
