Hatfield House Frost Fair

Held in The Old Palace, the Riding School, Stable Yard and heated marquees on Palace Green, the Christmas Frost Fair will feature: up to 200 stands of exciting, unusual and original gift ideas for all; Craft men & women showing off their skills; Fine Food Fair – come and taste the mouth watering array of foods and drink; Entertainment from Choirs, dancers and street entertainers throughout the fair; Father Christmas is here on all four days, courtesy of Hatfield Rotary Club; and more. Hoddesdon Loves Christmas

Visitors will be able to browse the array of craft, charity and promotional stalls lining the High Street with gifts and produce for the festive season, with lots of opportunities to buy a gift for Christmas or produce for the Christmas table. A Father Christmas parade will take place later in the afternoon before the switch on of the Christmas tree lights by the Mayor of Broxbourne followed by a short fireworks display. Activities include a Santa’s Grotto, fairground rides, arts and crafts and face painting.

Ware Dickensian Evening 2017

Last year, around 10,000 people attended the event and this year is expected to be the biggest and best yet! Bishop’s Stortford Christmas Fayre will return on Saturday 2 December throughout the main high street in Bishop’s Stortford.  Everyone will able to purchase all the Christmas essentials from gifts such as hampers and handmade jewellery to real Christmas trees and wreaths. Performances from local groups and bands such as Bishop’s Stortford Town band will delight crowds with beautiful traditional carols. Lots more is planned too!
