This October half-term children in Hertfordshire will be able to take a crash course in cycle maintenance thanks to Halfords’ free kids’ bike workshops.

The workshops, which will take place across the UK on Wednesday, 26th October 2016, are geared towards helping youngsters take better care of their bicycles.

The sessions (worth £10) are aimed at children aged 7 – 11 years. Each workshop will teach children basic bicycle maintenance, from checking tyre pressure and fixing a puncture to adjusting the saddle.

As an added bonus, every child who attends a session will also receive a free goody bag containing a tool kit, slap-wrap, discount voucher and a certificate.

Where can my child attend a workshop?

The workshops are going to be held at 430 Halfords shops across country. The following Herts towns and cities will be taking part:

  • Bishop’s Stortford
  • Borehamwood
  • Hemel Hempstead
